Love is the Greatest!!! How Come? How Come?? How Come???

Ever wonder why the Bible placed such lofty weight on the word Love? Ever thought through about it? What about faith and hope? Why both seem lower in rank when compared to Love? Can you imagine a world where there is faith and hope devoid of Love? What would it be like? On the other end, try imagining a world where love is everywhere, a world where love reign in everyone’s heart, where everyone voluntarily chose to love everyone. What would that world look like? A world free of fear! A world free of hatred! A world where music is in everyone’s heart! A world where one’s concern and desire is the other’s welfare! A world every human dreamt of! A world where everyone is the boss; where everyone is the servant; where everyone is the chef; where everyone is the very special guest of the night. A world where everyone is the Pele and the Shakespeare. What would that world look like? Think, Think about it!!
The battle has been won. The wall of Jericho fallen. Crossing the red sea on a dry ground. A sour water made sweet. A water gushed forth from within a rock. A manna for food in no man’s land. A ram provided instead of a son. Moving mountain to another space. Killing lion, the king of the jungle, with a bared hand. Destroying a king’s palace with just two bared arms. A barren woman bearing a child at the age of 90 defying arts and science. A boy betrayed and sold becoming a prime minister in a foreign king’s kingdom. These all but the by-product of Faith! But Love is the greatest!! How Come?
Hope to see one’s dream come to pass. Hope to see the dry bones becoming as flesh. Hope to see the wingless fly without wings. Hope to walk upon a moist of a cluster of cloud. Hope to see the risen Lord even Jesus Christ Himself. All these and many more but Love is still greater! How come??
Love is greatest. Love precedes faith and hope. Faith and hope are younger brother to Love. In the absence of Love, faith and hope will look ugly and dim. Love is the greatest. Love unites. Love is divine. Love forgives and forgets. Love is kind. Love is not selfish. Love is unadulterated. Love is pure. Love covers over a multitude of sins. Love can smile at the face of adversary. Love begets love. Love can conquer the unconquerable. Love can melt the hardest of heart. Love is all in all. God is love but love is not God. That’s why love is the greatest!!!! How come???
You may go to places unknown and untold. Sing like a cuckoo. Sway here and there like an angel. Speaks many unknown languages. Richest and most handsome. Wiser than even Solomon. More popular than any popularity the world has ever produced. Be a greater scientist and philosopher than Einstein and Socrates. Read the Bible from Genesis to revelation. Know and memories the Bible from cover to cover. But you are nothing if you don’t have LOVE. How come????
Love is still the greatest. How come??? Because the absence of love would ensue the presence of the followings; hatred, self pride, I m the best attitude, my ideology is the best, my denomination is the best, my religion is the best, my tribe is the best, my nation is the best, my people are the best, my life and not yours attitude, I did it myself attitude, I do what I know and want, and much more. That’s why love is the best and the greatest of them all. How come?????

Who are you God?

Life, they say has three facets,
Past, present and future.
One could either be embitter by the past, or
Build up by it in the present for a brighter and better tomorrow.

It seems easy to take life at ease,
When everything seem to go well.
But life, as it always is, has the unsure unseen path to it,
And tough is life when one is face with it.

Take God out of life’s trouble,
And you find no reason to wade through it.
Life’s problems they say,
Are God’s opportunities!

What shall we do then?
How shall we then live?
Do we understand all of our past?
Do we even understand our present?

Thanks be to God who knows our past,
Our present and our future.
And because He knows our past, present and future,
We can trust Him with our past, our present and our unseen tomorrows.
